AD Ports Group has signed a landmark Dh2.47 billion land sale agreement with Mira Developments, paving the way for one of Abu Dhabi’s largest mixed-use communities to date. The new project will transform Al Mamoura into a world-class destination integrating residential, commercial, and leisure facilities.
Strategic Location and Development Scope
The development site sits within AD Ports’ 16-square-kilometre Town Centre area, a key land asset strategically positioned along the Dubai–Abu Dhabi highway. Construction is expected to begin within 12 months of the effective date — September 29, 2025 — with full completion targeted within 10 years.
According to AD Ports, the community masterplan envisions:
- Premium residential neighborhoods
- A major shopping mall and business district
- Five-star hotels and luxury leisure facilities
- Golf courses and landscaped parks
- Educational institutions including schools and universities

Strengthening Abu Dhabi’s Real Estate Ecosystem
This transaction represents one of the largest land deals in recent years across the emirate and underscores strong investor confidence in Abu Dhabi’s thriving real-estate market.
The agreement also marks a major step in AD Ports Group’s strategy to unlock value from its extensive land portfolio. The proceeds will support debt reduction and reinvestment into new growth projects across logistics, infrastructure, and trade.
